On September 20, 2024, the Diocese of Rumonge, through its Good Health for All (Bonne Sante pour Tous, BST) development agency, attended two envoys from Trinity Church Wall Street from the United States of America.
The purpose of this visit was to arrive at the Amahoro Birimba Hospital (Hopital Amahoro Birimba, HAB) to see the results of donation which was granted by Trinity Church Wall Street to Diocese of Rumonge for extension of Amahoro Birimba hospital. The major purpose of the subsequent extension of Amahoro Birimba Hospital was to build a two-level floor for the following services: internal medicine, a pediatrics block, and a BST staff office block. Other buildings include an isolation block, a laundry room, a morgue, and an X-Ray block.
In addition, the Diocese received a donation of modern equipment such as a laundry machine, a digital radio, a 16-place morgue, and laboratory equipment.
The Diocese of Rumonge is very grateful to the Trinity Church Wall Street for its good cooperation with it, and that the Trinity Church Wall Street has been playing part directly for Diocesan development in reaching out Burundi community spiritually, in healing broken hearts, and well-being of the people.
