GOSHEN HEALTH MUTUALITY

The Anglican Diocese of Rumonge has implemented several social and health development initiatives, and the GOSHEM mutual aid society appears to align with this vision of community support and healthcare for the local population. GOSHEM was established in August 2023.

The Diocese of Rumonge, created in 2013, develops projects in:

  • Health,
  • Education,
  • Self-Financing,
  • The Fight Against Poverty and Community Development.
  • Disaster Relief
  • Emergency Response

As part of this initiative, the Diocese of Rumonge has established a health institution aimed at improving the quality of healthcare services offered to the community, in order to promote a healthy population.

GOSHEM’s mission

GOSHEM’s mission is to be a “solution” for any member who freely chooses the coverage options that are within their financial means. The research approach consists of analyzing the feasibility of a health insurance scheme based on the following elements: The prerequisites for setting up a Health Insurance Scheme, namely the existence of a community, the availability of health services, the socio-economic viability of the locality, the existence of a need for health financing and trust in the initiators.
