International women’s Day was cerebrated on the 14th March 2018 in the Province of Rumonge. The Anglican Diocese of Rumonge supported greatly the ceremonies because it was also the day of ending the second phase of fighting sexual violence and gender based violence where the Diocese had contributed visibly in it with a support of Christian Aid. People responded massively to those ceremonies. The theme of this year was: “Together, Rural and Urban actors transform women’s lfe”.
